Address to a Haggis

Burns Night, Monday January 25 is just a few days away and once again people around the world will be celebrating Scotland's national poet, Robert Burns and piping in the Haggis to receive the time honoured address:

Fair fa' your honest, sonsie face,
Great chieftain o the puddin'-race.
Aboon them a' ye tak your place,
Painch, tripe, or thairm:
Weel are ye wordy of a grace
As lang's my arm.

Followed by much feasting, dancing, whisky and Burns poetry.

Here is a comprehensive listing of Burns Night celebrations around the world.
