Australian Open 

Just a month to go to the first Grand Slam of the new tennis season and a special celebration.

The Australian Open Tennis Championships first played in 1905, is about to celebrate its centenary. Australasian Fans can expect an action-packed fortnight, both on and off the court, as the top names of world tennis gather at Melbourne Park from 17-30 January 2005.

Marking the centenary, history’s greatest ever tennis players, Rod Laver and Margaret Court, will present the trophies to the men’s and women’s singles winners.
